Summer wrap-up and Goodbye, 20's! (Insert sad face here)

What a cuh-rayzeeee weekend! We left early Saturday for a trip to Fargo for Wedding #1, a highschool classmate of mine. It was a blast! My parents came to town and took Emersyn with them for the night, along with our vehicle. No child, no vehicle...we don't get the opportunity much to let loose so we took full advantage!

Sunday morning rolled around and my head was screaming at the top of its lungs why too much Leinie's from the keg isn't always as awesome as it sounded the night before! Nothing a little Ibuprofen couldn't help....and well worth it anyways. I unfortunately didn't have my camera for Wedding #1 but I do hope to get pics from my friends' cameras. You see, half of my high school graduating class was at this wedding. Pretty impressive, huh? Would it still be impressive to learn that half of my graduating class = 6 people? HA! I had 12 in my class. 6 of us were there. Pretty good turnout!

Wedding #2 was on Sunday, and another 1.5 hour drive, to the town where my parents live.
It was the first Sunday wedding I had ever been to...with Monday being a holiday, it didn't seem like a Sunday at all. The wedding was huge and beautiful---I would guess 400-500 people---and it was great to see so many people that I know all in one visit! Emersyn had a BLAST at this wedding. They had a sweet treats table full of candy, and a kids activities table. Emersyn was a dancing queen! She had some little sparkly black shoes that she calls her "dancin' shoes" but they are too big for her. We had to trade them in for ballet slippers to save her feet on the cement.

She went to bed at like midnight!! She left the dance protesting.."I'm still dancing mommy!!"

Lucky for her, she starts dance classes this Thursday and can dance her little heart out for the rest of the fall.

It's time for me to dance my heart right down to bed. We spent 8 hours on the road today and I am exhausted. Work tomorrow, then up to Minneapolis Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday for classes. Oh! And my 30th birthday bash on Friday.

I am officially entering my very last week as a 20-something.
Pout, pout.
